The walk runs parallel to the river Thames to Gatehampton, offering superb views through gaps in the riverside trees, visits Hartslock Nature Reserve then descends back into Whitchurch. Some ups & downs, some quite steep. IF THE WHITCHURCH BRIDGE IS STILL CLOSED PARK IN MAIN CP IN CENTRE OF PANGBOURNE ANDALLOW 15 MINUTES TO WALK OVER FOOTBRIDGE TO START.
